Comrades, I have two topics I wish to bring to your attention. We will be conducting a Buddy Check on Saturday, October 10th starting at 9:00 AM. The purpose of this is to contact each Post member by phone and check to see if they are doing OK or are they in need of some assistance. We will also encourage them to start attending our monthly meetings or just come out to the post to socialize. We would also like to encourage them to become more involved in post management and activities. I will have lists of post members to hand out to our volunteers.

We are looking for at least 20 volunteers to come out to assist in this worthy endeavor. Please give me a call at (760) 315-1330 if you want to volunteer.

Also, we are going to start using volunteer bartenders to augment our paid staff starting in November. They will be working for tips only. We need to start doing this to help bring down the cost to us for doing business. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please give me or Stef a call.
