We are fast approaching North County VetFest, formally EscoVetFest! We have re-branded the parade and post-parade ceremonies as the Cities of Vista and San Marcos are now actively promoting the event happening on Wednesday, November 11th. The purpose of the re-brand is to make North County VetFest a truly North County wide event. Can’t wait to see you all there!
If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer or sponsor, please do not hesitate to contact me. This year’s parade and post-parade program promises to be bigger and better than last year. Sponsorship and volunteers are the driving forces that make this amazing event possible so if you are available, we would love to have your lending hands.
I regret to report that due to cashflow (or lack thereof) issues, at some point in the near future, the clubroom will be transitioning to an all-volunteer staff. I will be sure to keep you all informed once the E-board has determined a date the status will take effect. Myself and the E-board are exploring various ways to bring in additional revenue as the goal is to ensure an all-volunteer staff is not the permanent clubroom dynamic. Additionally, clubroom prices will be increasing on 1 October due to an increase in cost of goods. Our prices will still be less than any other private club and or bar in town! I do apologize for the inconvenience. I know each and every one of you are aware of the sacrifices we must make to keep the post doors open for many years to come!
College night will be taking tentatively taking place on Saturday October 31th! “Carl’s Bad Habits” will be rocking the house as usual!
Thanks to our Clubroom Committee, Halloween decorations will be up in short order!
