Daily Family Prayer:

The American Legion's second spiritual objective is "Service To Godand Country" is daily family prayer in the home. It has been said that family who prays together, stays together. This is more than poetry. If a family is so humble, so united as a team and so devoted to each other, that it can pray together each day, then that family is very strong in spirit, and the knot thatbind is very tight. This important because the family is the basis of society, actually it is the only narural unit of society. Through the practice of family prayer, there is developed a partnership of faith and hope, tolernce and patience, and keeps the family together.
