Hello once again to all legionnaires, Sons and Auxiliary!
On Monday, May 25h, the American Legion will be holding our annual Memorial Day Celebration brought to you by the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron149. from 1100-1500. Doors open at 10am. An American Legion family information booth will be located in the Hall. At 10am, the Sons will have a special presentation honoring their fathers and grandfathers proud service to our nation. The Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 11am and lunch will be served at 11:30am
I wish to close out the letter to remind you all that Club 149 now host Karaoke every Friday night and the first Saturday of every month.
The sixth annual Brothers of 6 “619” benefit dinner will be happening June 20st. Please mark your calendar now so you may come out and support this great event to benefit the San Pasqual Academy and Brother Benos. There will be dinner and live entertainment! Bring a new piece of luggage or a few bags of socks and drink specials will be provided by the legion. The “619” is very near and dear to the Brothers of 6 and will have both television and radio support to better ensure this event will be the best one yet!
